Innovative Centre for Biosciences (ICBio) was established in the year 2006 with its head office in Bangalore, India under the aegis of Mahatma Gandhi Educational Trust (MGET).which was formed by a group of likeminded, elite professionals and academicians from various segments of society. Through the non-profit organization — with thrust areas including Clinical Research, Bioinformatics, Research and Development — the promoters hope to increase the employment opportunities of life science graduates. In fulfilling the motto, ICBio started operations as a Clinical Research Training and education institute and is since then striving to bridge the gap between the course curricula and demands of the industry.

MGET is also undertaking several innovative programs such as vocational education camp for rural women, computer education camp for poor children and students, healthcare awareness camps, general health checkup camps, environment protection camp and adult education camps for the people of rural India.

A. ICBio Institute
Established with an objective to make our students "Ready to be absorbed Clinical Research Professionals ICBio offers numerous Clinical Research courses to train Medical, Pharmacy and Life Science, Nursing students aspiring to make a career in the field of Contract / Clinical Research Organization. In 2010 ICBio collaborated with University of Mysore to offer globally recognized regular Clinical Research education to get a global recognition to our students.

B. ICBio Clinical Research Pvt. Ltd.
In 2008, ICBio emerged as a CRO (Contract Research Organization). ICBio CRO is one of the leading global Contract Research Organization in Bangalore, India, equipped with a wide local and international expertise Since its establishment ICBio CRO has been passionate about being a result driven and preferred as a full service CRO partner by global Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Nutraceuticals, FMCG, Medical Device andCosmetics companies, thus contributing to people's health and quality of life.

C. ICBio Labs, In 2013 – ICBio Emerged as Diagnostic and Research Centre
ICBio Labs forms the core of our various research activities and is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure with well trained and highly experienced personnel. ICBio Labs is fully equipped to support analyses for in-house and multi-center clinical studies and provides with, All necessary materials (sample collection kits, sample storage materials, sample shipping materials and manuals/ instructions)

D. ICBio R & D Centre
ICBio R & D Centre for Innovation and Development, Bangalore was established in 2014. Since then it is the home of breakthrough technology for bigger, better and faster innovations. Success for us means creating products that keep pace with changes in consumer lifestyles and that appeal to people at all income levels. Our R&D teams work on cutting-edge science with a consumer focus that we can quickly convert into commercially viable applications.

E. ICBio BA/BE Centre
Established in 2016 the management & operations team brings in considerable experience in conducting BA/BE studies on healthy as well as patient population with various dosage forms including injectables like IM/IV/SC, oral dosage forms like solid formulations (Modified Release preparations), liquid formulations, topical preparations and inhalations. The BA/BE studies conducted at ICBio are fully GCP compliant. ICBio has a strong SOP driven culture and ensures compliance with all statutory and mandatory requirements and supports the regulatory queries arising post submissions.
